Korean dumplings filled with pork, kimchi or vegetables, steamed, boiled or pan-fried until crisp on the bottom.

Mandu traveled to Korea along Silk Road trade routes, later becoming a centerpiece of Korean New Year (Seollal) tables, traditionally served in a clear broth called tteokguk.
