Dishoom is an award-winning Indian restaurant inspired by the Irani cafés of Bombay. With a focus on the flavours and traditions of old Bombay, Dishoom serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in a setting that evokes the faded grandeur of a city that no longer exists.
Our Story
The Irani cafés of Bombay were opened in the early 20th century by Zoroastrian immigrants from Iran. At their peak there were around 400 such cafés. Today, fewer than 30 survive. Dishoom was opened in 2010 to pay homage to these beloved and disappearing institutions.
